      <title>Publicadas las convocatorias de Factories of the Future del Programa Marco</title>

<div><b>Cuerpo:</b> <div class=ExternalClass7956CFF1380D40ED82ACFAC8A795B45C>Tal y como se había anunciado por la propia Comisión Europea, el pasado día 20 de julio, se publicaron las convocatorias para proyectos de I+D en el ámbito de Factorías del Futuro (FoF). Esta convocatoria dispone de 160 millones de euros para los proyectos que se vayan a realizar en 2011. De ellos, la mitad los pone el programa de Nanotecnologías, Materiales y Tecnologías de Producción (NMP) y la otra mitad el programa de Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación (ICT). La convocatoria permanecerá abierta hasta el 2 de diciembre, a las 17h hora central europea.

Esta convocatoria presenta 8 tópicos de interés:

-The eco-factory: cleaner and more resource-efficient production in manufacturing.
-Cooperative machines and open architecture control system.
-Robots for automation of post-production and other auxiliary processes.
-High-tech solutions in the production processes for customised healthy, green and safe consumer goods.
-Towards zero-deffect manufacturing.
-Manufacturing chains for nano-phased component and coatings.
-Virtual factories and enterprises.
-Digital factories: Manufacturing design and product lifecycle management (con doble tipo de proyecto según el resultado objetivo).

The European Industrial Technologies Conference will address:

* The need for innovation within European industry and major obstacles hindering innovation;
* Future perspectives for industry with newly developed manufacturing technologies, materials and nanotechnologies;
* The social, environmental sustainability and competitiveness perspectives of the European manufacturing industry.

The conference will give you the possibility to meet major actors in the field. It will be an international forum where industry, research organisations, universities as well as policy makers will meet and discuss possibilities for cooperation and proposals for improved integration in the near future.

In addition to the Commission NMP Theme and the Belgian EU Presidency, the conference is also supported by the Manufuture European Technology Platform which represents the major European industries and research organisations in the field of manufacturing**. The Platform is promoting the use of new enabling technologies in Factories of the Future.</div></div>
